今週日曜日に全日程を終えるプレミアリーグ。来シーズンは日程が後ろ倒しとなったチャンピオンズリーグ決勝の3週間後に開幕を迎える。
2020年9月12日に開幕戦が行われ、2021年5月8日にシーズン終了となる。なお、チャンピオンシップとリーグ1、リーグ2ともに同じ週に開幕を迎え、翌年5月8日に閉幕する。その後にプレーオフが実施されることになる。
開幕から数試合はソーシャルディスタンスを保つため、無観客試合が濃厚。早くとも10月1日から観客を入れての試合が行える模様。
