Fabio Carvalho, the Portugal U-21 midfielder who joined Liverpool from Fulham in the transfer window last summer, earned playing time in the first half of the season, but after the World Cup in Qatar, he spent many games off the bench and lost the trust of manager Jurgen Klopp.
As the team works to revamp its midfield lineup, there is a strong possibility that he will drop further down the pecking order next season, and he is likely to be loaned out.
According to Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist, a one-year loan move to RB Leipzig, who were also looking for a full transfer, will be finalized soon.
Liverpool believes in the player’s potential and does not want a permanent transfer or a buy option, and the deal does not seem to include an option for a buy.

Many of the players have moved to Liverpool in the past, as they have a reputation for developing young players and also use the Gegenpress as a team tactic.
In addition to Naby Keita, who left this season, and Ibrahima Konate, who has established himself as a regular on the final line, Sadio Mane and Takumi Minamino also fall into this category in terms of being from Red Bull group club Red Bull Salzburg.
While not all of them were successful, their chances of shining at Anfield in the future will increase as long as they can secure playing opportunities at a club with a relatively similar style of play.
