Saudi Arabian oil money is raging in the transfer market this summer. They have acquired a number of proven players in Europe, including Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kanté, Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy, and Ruben Neves, and are still approaching a numerous players.
They are said to have approached Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, and continue to secure star players with their ample financial resources.
Among them, the transfer of 26-year-old midfielder Ruben Neves has been received with surprise, and they are also actively contacting other players in their 20s, such as Callum Hudson-Odoi and Demarai Gray.
Firmino still has the ability and fitness to play on the European stage and is not the type of player who is looking for money based on his career so far. However, he is not likely to move to another club in the Premier League, and considering his family, living an elegant life in Saudi Arabia could be an attractive option.
