Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal... Liverpool is also participating in the battle for Arda Güler Transfers

Liverpool, looking to strengthen its midfielders and acquire a center back, has been moving energetically in the transfer market and has been in contact with several midfielders after acquiring Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.

Although no second additions have been made at this point in time, it is likely that the club will be active in the transfer market as soon as the ongoing U-21 European Championship 2023 is over. In this context, Liverpool is also eyeing a potential successor to Egyptian international Mohamed Salah.

According to Record, Liverpool are interested in Turkish international Arda Güler, who has nine goals and 12 assists in 51 games for Turkish club Fenerbahce despite being only 18 years old. However, the race for the player is fierce, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal, Benfica, and numerous other clubs eyeing him.

Originally an attacking midfielder, he has been playing more often on the right wing this season, cutting in from the right side to create scoring chances. He is a gem of the Turkish national team with his dribbling technique and soccer sense, and wears the number “10” at the club.

His style of play, which includes a strong dribble and a winding mid-range shot from near the penalty area, has an atmosphere somewhat similar to that of Manchester United’s Antony.

Regardless of the reports, Liverpool’s focus is on midfielders and center backs. Depending on the departure of Caoimhín Kelleher, they may move to acquire a second goalkeeper, but there is no possibility of a move for a forward this summer.

At 18 years old, he is an interesting option in terms of bolstering the future as he is a talent with a bright future. However, with Scottish U-21 international Ben Doak and former Derby forward Kaide Gordon in the same position in the academy, the need to acquire him must be questioned.

With a release fee of £15m, he is an inexpensive talent, but will he move to a new place this summer…?
