After the last friendly match, the Premier League will start this weekend. Liverpool, looking to bounce back from last season, will enter the new season with a refreshed midfield, with a significant reshuffling of the midfielders.
However, Liverpool’s reinforcement program is far from over. With the departure of Fabinho, they are pursuing a defensive midfielder and are committed to acquiring Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.
A third offer was rejected last night, but they have already submitted a fourth offer, according to Ben Jacobs, sports journalist.
“Understand Liverpool have already made another improved offer for Romeo Lavia after Southampton rejected their last £46m bid.”

Southampton was seeking £50 million. Anything less would not allow the sale, and negotiations had stalled. An agreement has been reached with the player, and once an agreement is reached between the clubs, he is expected to undergo a quick medical and become a Liverpool player.
Will Liverpool pay the asking price and acquire the young 19-year-old Belgian midfielder?
