Arsenal in race with Liverpool for Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade Transfers

Liverpool has succeeded in changing the generation of its midfielders, which was said to be the cause of last season’s poor performance. Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai are already major contributors to the team’s victories, while Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch are showing signs of being ready for action.

However, it is looking increasingly likely that Liverpool will not relax their efforts to reinforce their midfield, and rumors are circulating around the world that they will make a move for Brazilian midfielder Andre Trindade, who is currently at Fluminense, this winter.

An approach was also made this past summer, and the club would not allow him to leave because they were in the midst of the Copa Libertadores.

According to Football365, Arsenal is also interested in the player, whom Liverpool is keen on. The Gunners are also keeping a close eye on Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz, pushing to strengthen their defensive midfield.

This summer’s transfer market saw aggressive reinforcements, including Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Julien Timber, and David Raya. The club has not spared any investment in the recent transfer market, having also acquired Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Leandro Trossard last season.

With the uncertain departure of 30-year-old midfielder Thomas Partey and the possibility of him leaving as early as next January, Arsenal have their tentacles out for a midfielder who can handle the bottom of midfield.

But while Liverpool remains in pole position at the moment, it is not uncommon for that position to change. So where does the future lie for the 22-year-old midfielder…?
