Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, who joined Liverpool from Brighton last summer, has continued to live up to his expectations with impressive performances when used as a bottom midfield or inside half.
In his first year with the club, the player has decided to step down at the end of the season after coach Jurgen Klopp welcomed him to the team.
He recalled the moment he was told of his departure by the German coach before it was announced to the media, but said he had to make the best of the upcoming season.
“The moment was a bit crazy,”
“We found out five minutes before it was publicly known in an unusual meeting. I was sitting next to (Mohamed) Salah, I asked him, and he told me ‘The coach is leaving’.”
“I thought he [Klopp] was leaving at that moment, but after he told us, I understood that it was when the season was ending. It’s a personal decision.”
“He has been here for many years, and we want the best for him. This motivated us much more because we have to make it very special. His departure has to be very nice.”

Liverpool won the Carabao Cup, their first title in their last season. They are still fighting for the top spot in the Premier League, and with their win over Southampton, they took a step forward in the FA Cup. They are also still in the Europa League.
Can Klopp deliver his best season in charge of Liverpool since 2015 and revive the team? Can the Argentine midfielder and his fellow teammates achieve a future of four miraculous titles…?
