Ecuadorian defender William Pacho, who joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Royal Antwerp in the summer of 2023, has been a regular starter since the start of the season, not only in the Bundesliga but also in the Conference League.
The 22-year-old centre-back, who has also made 10 appearances for his country’s national team, is being watched with keen interest by some of Europe’s best clubs.
German Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg revealed that Liverpool and Arsenal are in contact, with a transfer fee of between €50 million and €60 million.
“News Willian Pacho | Arsenal and Liverpool are still interested in Pacho and inquired about him. Eintracht Frankfurt is aware.”
“The 22 y/o is allowed to leave Eintracht in the summer if someone pays between €50-60m in transfer fees. This price tag has been set. Contract valid until 2028. Key player.”

Liverpool’s search for a left-footed centre-back has been ongoing since last summer. After missing out on Chelsea defender Levi Colwill, Sporting defender Goncalo Inácio and Nottingham Forest defender Murillo have emerged as targets.
A centre-back who can pass with his left foot, which is absent from the current club, is still considered a priority reinforcement point this summer, and with 32-year-old defender Joel Matip leaving at the end of his contract, the aim of securing a number of centre-backs is also present.
Who will Liverpool bring in as their new centre-back, as the team undergoes a major makeover, including a new manager…?
