The search for Jurgen Klopp’s successor is speeding up rapidly.
Instead of Xabi Alonso or Ruben Amorim, Liverpool have made Arne Slot of Feyenoord their top priority in negotiations, and contact has been completed between the club and the manager.
Liverpool’s first move was to offer €9 million in compensation, but the Dutch club did not agree to that amount.
However, the next round of negotiations is imminent and talks will resume within hours, with the Reds breathing down their necks to conclude negotiations, according to Fabrizio Romano.
“Liverpool will insist in talks with Feyenoord also in the next hours to reach an agreement on compensation.”
“Liverpool want to get Arne Slot deal done on club side soon, as there’s no issue on contact talks with the manager and his representative so far.”
