In the summer of 2021, 19-year-old midfielder Bobby Clark moved to Liverpool from Newcastle United, making 14 first-team appearances. He steadily gained experience and was selected for the England U-20 squad in March 2024.
Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig have reportedly been interested in the young midfielder, who has a promising future in the Premier League.
Salzburg, with manager Pepijn Lijnders in charge, also understand the player’s features and are looking to acquire him on a loan move.
According to DaveOCKOP, Liverpool are open to signing a new deal for Clark, who has interest from several clubs, and want to change his current contract until June 2028 to a longer-term one.
In addition to the Red Bull Group, Derby County, Norwich City and Rangers from Scotland are also keen on the chance of a loan move, which could lead to a battle for the Newcastle-born midfielder.
With his committed forward pressing and high attacking sense, what sort of career will the England U-20 midfielder have in store for him in the future…?
