Liverpool have started pre-season training ahead of the new season.In the new team, with new manager Arne Slot appointed after the departure of Jurgen Klopp, the players, together with the new players, are developing a mutual understanding.
The main members of the team have been delayed due to the EURO 2024 and Copa America 2024. At the moment, the focus is on young players, with Greek defender Kostas Tsimikas, who is not taking part in the tournament, and Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott, who are already competing regularly, also training.
And more recently, the veterans have started to return. Egyptian international Mohamed Salah and Japanese midfielder Wataru Endo have joined up and met new head coach Slot.
The Dutch coach responded with his impressions of both players, who have long careers, but also revealed his desire for them to be role models for the younger players.

The former Feyenoord manager, who has been in close communication with many of the players from the academy and those in their 20s, who have been strengthened in recent years, speaks of their ability and is impressed by their eagerness to learn.
“The youngsters coming from the academy have the same intensity and the guys are all open to learning. The way I see and feel it, they enjoyed it as well!”
