Liverpool have entered a new era with new manager Arne Slot. With Virgil Van Dijk now in veteran territory, he is aiming for a generational change in the centre-backs, while also looking to shore up an attacking line-up that saw a decline in scoring at the end of last season.

The 26-year-old attacking midfielder, who also featured at EURO 2024, is also being watched by Tottenham Hotspur. He scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 31 games last season and is recognised as one of the best players in the Premier League.
However, he will not want to lose his colleague, France U-23 international Michael Olise, to Bayern Munich and lose two key players in the Crystal Palace attack at the same time. So there are painstaking negotiations ahead for both clubs looking to acquire him.
