On loan at Hull City last season, 21-year-old midfielder Tyler Morton showed himself in the Championship with three goals and five assists in 41 appearances. He has returned to Liverpool this season and has continued to appeal to manager Arne Slot in pre-season.

However, his departure is not certain. With Japan international midfielder Wataru Endo and 19-year-old midfielder Stefan Bajcetic higher up the pecking order, the battle for the inside-half position is even fiercer. Even if he stays at Anfield, his playing time will be limited.

Two seasons ago, he also played for Blackburn Rovers. He has performed perfectly well in England’s second tier and it is time for him to test his abilities in the top flight, such as the Premier League, so it is no surprise that the young midfielder has asked to leave.

According to Daily Mail reporter Lewis Steele, the England U-21 midfielder could be on the move to a new club this summer, with RB Leipzig, Atalanta and several Premier League clubs all looking to make a move for him on a complete transfer.

“I had a couple more questions, one was on Tyler Morton – not sure what Liverpool will do with him.”

“There’s a lot of interest in him over a permanent move. Off the top of my head it’s RB Leipzig, Atalanta and a couple of Premier League clubs as well.”

“About £20 million Liverpool want for him, which is the same price tag for Sepp van den Berg.”

The young midfielder has played for Liverpool’s first team in the Premier League and Champions League, but will he walk into a new challenge at a new club…?
