Born on Merseyside, 21-year-old midfielder Tyler Morton joined Liverpool’s academy at the age of seven. He progressed steadily through the under-category and showed his potential by making his first-team debut in 2021.
He then spent two seasons on loan at Blackburn and Hull City, where he proved he could make his mark in the Championship. He returned to Liverpool under manager Arne Slot and has continued to appeal to the new manager in pre-season.
The player, who remains a possibility for a first-team squad depending on future reinforcements, was a great admirer of his team-mate.
