Born in Wrexham, 21-year-old defender Owen Beck grew up in Liverpool’s academy and made three first-team appearances. Last season, he was on loan at Scottish Premiership side Dundee, where he scored two goals and provided four assists in 25 games.
The Wales U-21 left-back returned to Liverpool in pre-season, but with the likes of Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas forming a thick wall, he is likely to find it difficult to even make the bench if he stays at Anfield.
According to TEAMtalk, the Welsh defender is likely to be on loan again this season, but Liverpool’s priority is to release him on a full transfer. Scottish side Celtic have also expressed interest, suggesting a move could be completed for £1-2 million.
The attacking side-back, who can also contribute to the team high up front, is up and down the left flank throughout the game. The defender, with his athletic and dynamic style of play, has built up a reputation in Scotland for his performances last season.
