18-year-old forward Lewis Koumas, whose father is former Welsh midfielder Jason Koumas, who also played in the Premier League, plays for Liverpool U-21s.
The young forward, who mainly plays on the left wing, made his first-team debut in last season’s FA Cup third round tie against Southampton.
He is a young player with a promising future, and according to Daily Mail reporter Lewis Steele, he is on the verge of signing a new contract with Liverpool. He also reported that he plans to move to the Championship club on loan this season.
“Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas close to sealing a new deal at the club and is expected to sign for a Championship team on loan in the next week. The 18-year-old rewarded for a stellar season both with club and two caps for Wales.”
