After a whitewash in Arne Slot’s first season in charge, Liverpool have not ruled out the possibility of reinforcements in the transfer market this summer.
The right talent and the right transfer fee are the only criteria, but they may make a move for a player with little time left on the deadline.
According to Chris Wheatley, Liverpool are interested in Belgian U-19 international Matias Fernandez-Pardo from KAA Gent, along with promoted sides Leicester City and Southampton.

Born in 2005, the 19-year-old winger has scored 10 goals and assisted two in 27 first team games so far, and has also played in the European Conference League.
He has also shown a high level of aggression for the Belgium U-19 national team, scoring three goals in ten games.
Although he is not an experienced player, he would be a worthwhile investment for the future, but will Liverpool make a move for the young gem…?
