Egyptian international Mohamed Salah received a huge offer from Saudi Arabia last summer. Liverpool had no intention of letting go of the team ace and rejected the offer. A new offer was expected to be presented this summer, but the Middle Eastern club have set their sights on next summer.
The reason for this is that the 32-year-old right winger’s contract with Liverpool expires in June 2025. He will be available on a free transfer and will be able to negotiate directly with the player’s side from January next year. Meanwhile, reports are circulating that he is keen to continue playing football in Europe.
The veteran attacker, whose departure at Anfield has attracted a lot of attention, touched on his contract extension with Liverpool and said that at the moment he is not thinking about a contract or his future at all and is fully focused on enjoying this season.
