Since his move from AS Roma, Egyptian international Mohamed Salah has scored and assisted numerous goals at Anfield and is even now one of the legends. He has been in fine form since the start of the season, scoring in three consecutive games.
The 32-year-old right winger is still the ace in the hole at Liverpool, who have one of the best attackers in the Premier League with Federico Chiesa, but with his current contract set to expire in June 2025, it will be interesting to see how negotiations develop to see if he will extend his contract.
Fabrizio Romano, referring to the player’s contract situation, revealed that Egyptian King wants to stay at Anfield and that Liverpool also want an extension.
On the other hand, he also touched on the uncertainty, saying that agreement on the financial part of the deal would be a challenge.

The Egyptian winger no longer shows the same pace as at the peak of his career, but other parts of his game have grown, such as using his upper body strength to hold the ball up and create chances near the opposition penalty area, and his decisiveness in front of goal remains undiminished.
He will continue to perform well enough to play in the next year and beyond, but will Liverpool offer him a new contract and will the player accept it in the future…?
