Former Colombian international Radamel Falcao has become one of the best strikers in Europe after scoring a huge amount of goals for FC Porto and Atletico Madrid, and also scored 83 goals in 140 games in total for AS Monaco, to whom he moved in 2013.
In the summer of 2014, while still in the French league, the Santa Marta-born forward joined Manchester United on a loan deal, and after a disappointing four goals and five assists in 29 games, it is fair to say that his attempts in England were unsuccessful.
The player’s father, Radamel Garcia, revealed what went on behind the scenes at the time. He revealed that when he moved to United, there was interest from Juventus, in addition to Premier League sides Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.
