Liverpool have acquired some of the most promising young players in England, including 16-year-old defender Alvin Ayman from Wolverhampton Wanderers and 16-year-old forward Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea. In recent years, the club has sent scouts all over the UK to push for the strengthening of its academy.
And their eyes are also focused abroad. The international media outlet Sky Sport DE’s Patrick Berger is interested in 17-year-old midfielder Andrija Maksimovic, who made his debut for Serbia on 12 October 2024.

He grew up in the Red Star’s lower divisions and has emerged in the first team this season, starting in the Champions League against Inter Milan. He mainly plays as an attacking midfielder and right winger.
