Egypt international Mohamed Salah’s future at Anfield remains uncertain, but Liverpool have a strong attacker group with Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Federico Chiesa and Darwin Nunez in friendly competition.
Liverpool have a solid squad, but are always looking for possibilities to improve. According to Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, the Premier League’s top clubs are all looking to land Sporting forward Viktor Gyökeres, and Liverpool are among them.
“Was told that Manchester United is currently not in the race for Viktor Gyökeres.”
“It’s a matter of waiting to see what would happen if Ruben Amorim becomes the new coach.”
“In England, the four clubs mentioned are particularly active for him: Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea”
“He is allowed to leave Sporting next summer for 60-70 million euros, as revealed in our show ‚Transfer Update‘. A transfer in the summer is planned.”
