Egyptian international Mohamed Salah remains Liverpool’s leading scorer after the departure of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, who established a golden era.
As well as scoring goals, he is also an excellent chance-maker from the right wing, where he has also recorded a number of assists.
Recently, there have been daily reports of transfer news, including whether or not he will extend his contract and intense interest from Saudi Arabia.
And at 32, he is approaching veteran status and Liverpool have a list of potential long-term successors, apart from contract negotiations.
Egyptian King recalls when Firmino left the club. He mentioned that everyone has a moment when they leave the team, and revealed that he talks to his teammates every day, cherishes the good times he has and stores good memories every day.
“The thing I appreciate the most is the time when I go every morning and I see the guys and share unbelievable moments, especially us three plus Virgil [van Dijk] and Trent [Alexander-Arnold], the senior group,”
“When Bobby [Firmino] left, for example, you realise everybody will leave one day so I don’t take that for granted.”
“When I go [to the training ground], I always try to have a laugh with them and spend good time together. In my head, I always remember the good things we had together.”
