England U-21 midfielder Harvey Elliott, who has shown extraordinary potential since his time at Fulham and has been carefully nurtured by Jurgen Klopp, has not been getting as much playing time as expected under Arne Slot.
Although he has been affected by being out injured for most of the first half of the season, he has been losing ground to Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones in the pecking order.
He has created some chances from midfield substitutions, but his opportunities to start have been limited.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder, who often sits on the bench, emphasised his team spirit and said that he rather sees them as a family.
He also insists that everyone gives their all for the club, no matter who is on the pitch.
“I think it just sums up this team. Everyone has so much love for one another. We’re not a team, we’re a family and whoever scores, whoever is playing, whoever is not playing, we’re all together as one and we want to do everything for the club.”

His lack of playing time has also led to transfer rumours. Brighton from the Premier League and Borussia Dortmund from the Bundesliga are reportedly interested, and if the situation continues and a new rival is born, he will certainly be looking to leave.
Either way, it is certain that he will fight it out at Anfield this season and give his all to help the club win the Premier League and Champions League.
