I don't understand the point of selling Fabinho" - Former Liverpool midfielder questions rumors of Brazilian midfielder's sale! Transfers

Brazilian midfielder Fabinho was expected to continue to work regularly at the bottom of midfield in the new season. Although he was ridiculed as a candidate for release in the first half of last season due to his declining performance, his condition recovered in the second half of the season. He regained his true form and contributed to Liverpool’s comeback.

Suddenly, however, interest from Saudi Arabia arrived. Al-Ittihad, which signed Karim Benzema and others this summer, made a formal offer of £40 million, and the players had reached a personal agreement, and the transfer was expected to be announced soon.

However, talks between the clubs stalled over the method of payment. Nevertheless, the two clubs have resumed negotiations, and once again, a move to Saudi Arabia has become a reality, according to Paul Joyce of The Times.

“Renewed expectation that Fabinho £40m move to Al Ittihad will go ahead after deal had stalled over payment terms to Liverpool. Talks started again. Liverpool first bid for Romeo Lavia was £34m plus £4m add ons and Southampton expecting another approach.”
