Former Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcántara moved to Liverpool when he had less than a year left on his contract with Bayern. In addition to his exceptional technique, he has been a stadium-stopper while creating chances with his outlandish passes.
Injuries have often kept him off the bench. It is difficult for him to play the entire season, and with a contract that expires in June 2024, he is expected to leave the club on a free transfer next summer.
Saudi Arabia has made an offer for the player, but he has rejected the approach and is reportedly focused on the new season.
Suddenly, however, interest from Sevilla surfaced, and news broke that Liverpool was considering selling him this summer.
Nevertheless, Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist, completely denied the rumors and claimed that no discussions had even taken place.
“No negotiations, no talks, nothing at all between Thiago Alcantara and Sevilla despite links.”
“Thiago, only focused on Liverpool.”

With Liverpool losing experienced midfielders such as Jordan Henderson, James Milner, and Fabinho, it is hard to imagine them releasing the 32-year-old midfielder, who is also experienced on the international stage, and is expected to set an example for younger players.
This is likely to be Thiago’s last season at Anfield, but how will he perform…?
