Certainly leave Fluminense in Jan...Liverpool in pole position in the battle for Andre Transfers

Liverpool’s efforts to rebuild its midfielders this summer have resulted in a resurgence of strength in the midfield, and the base for a new era is now in place.

With the development of Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott, the squad is now well rounded, but with Thiago Alcantara set to leave next summer, the team is looking to further strengthen its midfield.

Throughout the summer, there were reports of interest from Liverpool in Brazilian midfielder Andre, who is a member of Fluminense.

The club’s president has acknowledged contact, and although he refused to release him in the summer, as the Copa Libertadores was in full swing, he did not deny that he would be sold this winter.

The player, who is now increasingly likely to leave the club next January, reported that Liverpool is continuously sending scouting teams to take the lead in the battle, according to Graeme Bailey.

“Many people think he’s the best defensive midfielder in the Brazilian top flight at the moment,”

“It’s our understanding that they were in attendance for the Copa Libertadores semi-final. They would have been delighted for Andre to see that he helped inspire a 2-1 win over Internacional in the second-leg. It got them through to the final where they will play Boca Juniors.”

“He really is one on the agenda for January. And I’ll be amazed if he doesn’t leave Fluminense. Will it be to Liverpool? I think they’re first in the queue.”

“He’s definitely leaving Fluminense in January. And he may very well be turning up at Anfield.”

Talking Transfers

The 22-year-old midfielder has the dexterity to play a variety of midfield positions around the defensive midfield. He is more aggressive than Alexis Mac Allister and should be able to handle the job of mowing down the ball at the bottom of midfield in the high-intensity Premier League.

It is a long season, and there is no better way to win multiple tournaments than with more strength.

Will the young midfielder, who has proven himself in Brazil and whose reputation continues to grow, decide to challenge for the Premier League this winter?
