Liverpool's priority as they turn their attention to Bayern Munich is Jamal Musiala, not Leroy Sane Transfers

One of the latest developments to gain momentum is Liverpool’s interest in a player from Bayern Munich. The Saudi Arabia club is believed to have made a huge verbal offer for the player this summer, and he is expected to be back in the transfer market next summer.

Liverpool, who will be 32 next year and will have to start thinking about a generational change, are reportedly interested in Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane as their successor.

He has experience playing in the Premier League and has scored 45 goals and provided 37 assists in 144 games so far for the German champions.

However, it seems that Liverpool has a priority player at the club. Christian Falk, a German journalist, reports that German midfielder Jamal Musiala, also of Bayern, is the top priority target.

“Bayern also has a problem with Leroy Sane, who is playing his best season since he first arrived at Munich,”

“The problem is that the national player only has a contract until 2025. The other problem is that, so far, the club has not spoken to him about a new contract following the changes at the top with the board.”

“Now Sane is thinking about perhaps looking for a new challenge again in the summer. Liverpool are also interested in the player. The 27-year-old could replace 31-year-old Mohamed Salah if he leaves the club in the summer.”

“Sane is quick like Salah and just as flexible on offence. But I heard Musiala is Liverpool’s priority – should they fail in their pursuit here, only then will Sane come.”

Realistically, it is unlikely that Bayern Munich would let go of a key player of the future. Whether it is Leroy Sane or Jamal Musiala, there are no easy negotiations waiting for them.

Will Liverpool really extend their tentacles to a member of the German national team ?
