Born in his hometown of Liverpool, 25-year-old defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been under the tutelage of coach Jurgen Klopp since his teenage years.
He has developed into one of the best right backs in the world, and has been appointed vice-captain this season, giving him increased mental responsibility.
Since last season, he has been used more and more at false sideback and more recently as a defensive midfielder. He is also increasingly used as a midfielder for the England national team and continues to create chances from the middle of the pitch as well as assisting from the right side.
The defender, who has grown from a young player into the heart of the team, currently has a contract with the club that runs until 2025, with less than a year remaining beyond this June.
According to HITC, Liverpool is preparing to sign him to a new contract and he is expected to receive a top-class salary.
He has played close to “300” games for Liverpool, and at the age of 25, he has performed at a legendary level.
From now on, he is expected to play not as a member of the team, but to lead the team to the title, and is expected to make further progress.
Will the local player, who has long and short passing skills of another dimension and a strong shooting ability, sign a new long-term contract…?
