Acquisition by next season...Liverpool continues interest in Fulham defender Antonee Robinson Transfers

After coming through Everton’s academy, U.S. national team defender Antonee Robinson will be playing for Fulham from 2020.He has played four full games in a row at the World Cup in Qatar and will be a mainstay at the tournament, which is scheduled to be held in his home country next.

He could replace the soon-to-be 30-year-old Scottish defender, but with the U.S. defender also turning 27 this year, he is unlikely to be a long-term option. Other promising youngsters such as Beck and Luke Chambers are also in the pipeline, and the position does not seem to be a desperate one.

While Liverpool may have an appreciation for the player, who has been impressive at Craven Cottage, the team will be built for next season, when Jurgen Klopp steps down from the helm, based on the new manager as well…
