Barcelona, Chelsea and PSG are rivals...Liverpool joins the battle for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Transfers

Liverpool has one of the best forward lines in the Premier League, including Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, and Diogo Jota. Youngsters such as Ben Doak and Jayden Danns are also rapidly developing and have bright futures ahead of them.

However, in England, where competition is fierce, Liverpool will need to constantly update its squad if it is to remain a powerhouse. The Egyptian international has received intense interest from Saudi Arabia, and the Colombian international is being speculated about from the Spanish side.

If they leave, a young winger from Serie A could join them, and according to Ciro Venerato, Liverpool is likely to enter the race for Napoli’s Georgia international Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who has shown strong interest.

The then-unknown winger, who joined Napoli from Dinamo Batumi in the summer of 2022, surprised everyone in his first season in Italy. His crisp dribbling breakthroughs continued to trouble opposing defenders, and he created numerous chances from the left wing.

He also contributed greatly to the club’s national league title with an impressive 14 goals and 17 assists in 43 games. Although he has not been as successful this season as he was last, he is still one of Serie A’s leading wingers, and the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain are all keen on him.

It is hard to believe that Liverpool would give up their current squad to acquire a player who is said to cost more than 80 million euros in a transfer window.

Even if Liverpool were to acquire a large sum of money from the sale of Mohamed Salah, they are not a club that would pay more than what he is capable of and has already achieved.

At this point, it seems unlikely that the Georgia forward has a future at Anfield, but will it be the summer when he makes the step up from Napoli…?
