Liverpool is strongly interested in Georgiy Sudakov...To compete with Juventus and Arsenal Transfers

Georgiy Sudakov, a 21-year-old midfielder who has been performing remarkably well for Shakhtar Donetsk, has also made 14 appearances for Ukraine and has established himself as one of the up-and-coming young midfielders in the country.

His play has attracted the interest of some of Europe’s best clubs. Reports have often circulated, and Russian journalist Artur Petrosyan reported that Liverpool is keen on the player, but that Juventus and Arsenal also have their sights set on him.

“Liverpool are showing keen interest in one of Ukraine’s brightest talents, Georgiy Sudakov. The Reds’ scouts have been attentively tracking the 21-year-old central midfielder over the past year, and there’s little doubt that they are pleased with the majority of his performances. Juventus and Arsenal are also in the race to secure his services.”

“In January, Shakhtar CEO Sergey Palkin disclosed that they had turned down a €40m offer from Napoli for his signature. He also expressed confidence that Sudakov will soon be playing for one of Europe’s top clubs.”

The attacking midfielder, who is adept with both feet, has scored 15 goals and provided 14 assists in 91 games for his club.He has also gained experience in the Champions League and Europa League, and is on a steady development curve as a player.

Liverpool is reportedly interested in attacking midfielders such as Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala, but they are not a priority in terms of reinforcement strategy. Center backs and forwards are their top priority, and with a limited budget, it may be difficult to spend money on even midfielders.

There is no way they would let go of a promising player for a cheap transfer fee as they just renewed his contract in February 2024, but will the Ukrainian midfielder step up his game this summer…?
