Liverpool have been the subject of transfer rumours regarding Egyptian international Mohamed Salah and Colombian international Luis Diaz. The Saudis are keen on the former and an offer is likely to arrive this summer, but the latter seems to have no basis in fact.
In particular, the search for a replacement for Egyptian King, who is now 32 years old, is a priority. Liverpool, who have shown interest in young attackers honing their skills in the Premier League and other top European leagues, are also looking at Championship forwards.
According to Football Transfers, they are tracking 22-year-old Dutch international Crysencio Summerville, who has impressive figures in front of goal for Leeds United this season with 18 goals and nine assists in 41 games, and could make a move this summer.
Leeds are also keen to extend the young attacker’s contract and are keen to extend his current deal until June 2026. On the other hand, if they have to release him, they are expected to demand a transfer fee of more than £45 million and are not willing to let go a key player in the team on the cheap.
There are several clubs other than Liverpool that are interested in the 22-year-old player, who mainly plays on the left wing, with AC Milan having the strongest interest.
The report therefore claims that there is a high probability that he will win the battle and join the team as a winger to replace Rafael Leao, who is rumoured to be on his way out of the club.
Will the young winger, who has also scored against Liverpool, have a future playing at Anfield…?
