Mohamed Salah to stay at Liverpool next season...Neither the club nor the player wants to leave Transfers

Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian international, has been criticised for his arrogance, including an altercation with manager Jurgen Klopp on the touchline against West Ham. Interest from Saudi Arabia has not died down, with big-money offers expected to come in this summer, and with less than a year left on his contract, his departure is a hot topic of interest.

Although he has lost his winger’s touch in his heyday, his ability to create chances and his mental strength on penalties is still there. The forward, who will be 32 in June this year, has compensated for his declining athleticism with skill and remains the team’s ace.

However, it is a fact that he has many critics. He has been rumoured to be on the verge of leaving Liverpool, as it is his last chance for a huge transfer fee due to his age.

According to international media outlet The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Liverpool have full confidence in Egyptian King and are planning reinforcements on the basis that he will be part of the team next season.

Furthermore, the two sides are in agreement, with the player showing no desire to leave the club’s side, which wants him to stay. Saudi Professional League (SPL) officials also believe that he will spend another season at Anfield.

If he does not move this summer, the 33-year-old Egyptian winger may leave the team on a free transfer. Liverpool would love to sign a new deal and get a bit of a transfer fee, but the Middle Eastern club are said to have their sights set on a no-transfer timing (summer 2025).

Liverpool have a new manager, team structure, age and a number of other factors at play, but will they walk away next season with the former Roma forward, who receives the highest fee in the team…?
