Liverpool and Inter Milan turn up the heat on Las Palmas midfielder Alberto Moleiro Transfers

Born in Santa Cruz de Teneriffe, 20-year-old midfielder Alberto Moleiro has been with Las Palmas since 2018.

He was promoted to the first team in July 2021 and has made over 100 appearances, scoring six goals and assisting 13.

Liverpool and Inter Milan have been investigating the attacking midfielder, who has also been selected for the Spanish U-21 national team, for several months and will try to acquire him in the summer transfer window, AS reported.

He is somewhat reminiscent of former Brazilian midfielder Filipe Coutinho, who used to play for Liverpool in the past, with his foot-sucking dribbling ability to turn opponents around.

Although his goals and assists seem a little underwhelming, he is a sufficient attacking threat.

Moleiro, who is under contract until 2026, is believed to have a €60 million release clause in his contract, but his club could listen to offers for €25-30 million.

The attacking midfielder has also attracted interest from Real Betis and Villarreal in Spain, but it remains to be seen whether he will make a move in this summer’s transfer market, unlike the position Liverpool are looking to reinforce as a priority.

In addition, it is also a position where Fabio Carvalho, the Portuguese Under-23 midfielder on loan at Hull City, excels, and the probability of Liverpool allocating money for him is close to zero.

Will the young midfielder, who has shown his hidden potential at Las Palmas, make a good start at his new club?
