Hard to turn down an offer from Liverpool...Crysencio Summerville could be on his way out Transfers

With Jurgen Klopp leaving Anfield, Liverpool are moving towards a new era with a new manager. It is said that they are looking to strengthen their centre-backs and attackers, with player replacements also expected.

One of the targets is Dutch international Crysencio Summerville, who has been very successful for Leeds United, who were relegated from the Premier League last season. He is leading the attack this season with 19 goals and nine assists in the Championship.

Ben Jacobs (sports journalist) talks about the player’s departure and suggests that if an offer arrives from a club such as Liverpool, it would be difficult to reject it. However, he also revealed that he is not a player who would force a move.

“Summerville all season has been focused on Leeds, very professional and very loyal to the club. Naturally, when a club like Liverpool or any other club of that nature make an offer, it can be very hard for players to turn it down,”

“They’re joining a club with Champions League football, much bigger wages, and no risk of dropping out of the division a season later.”

“So you can understand why Leeds may face a battle to keep Summerville. But we should stress that Summerville has always been very loyal and committed to Leeds.”

“He’s not been one of the players, for example in the January window, to start asking for anything or pushing for an exit.”

The diminutive attacker, who mainly plays on the left wing, plays on the opposition defence with his fine stepping. He is also highly decisive in front of goal and has experience of the top flight, having made 28 appearances in the Premier League last season.

However, Liverpool now have a lot of left wingers, and there is an overabundance of them. The most preferred position would seem to be a left-handed right winger, but what reinforcement plans do the Reds have in place?
