Saudi Arabia's quest for a world-class goalkeeper has narrowed its sights on Liverpool's Alisson Becker Transfers

Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker has been keeping goal for Anfield since joining from AS Roma. He has shown top-level ability as a sweeper-keeper, not only in shot stopping, but also in foot technique, passing, jumping and punt kicking.

He has also won the Champions League and Premier League, was named the winner of the inaugural Yasin Award, the prize for the best goalkeeper of the year, which was established in 2019, and has now established herself as a world-class goalkeeper without a doubt.

Saudi Arabia is increasingly turning its attention to such top-ranked goalkeepers. According to Rudi Galetti, an Italian journalist, the Saudi Professional League is planning to bring in the Liverpool goalkeeper by offering him a huge salary and treatment.

“The PIF included Allison Becker among the main targets for this summer.”

“The Saudi Pro League intends to sign a top-level goalkeeper and the Brazilian has been identified as the chosen one.”

“A monstre contract is being prepared to convince him.”

Liverpool would never let go of the Brazilian goalkeeper and this report will not materialise. And with Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher also facing the possibility of leaving, it would not be ideal to change the team down to a defender.

If an offer were to be made, it is unlikely the Reds would accept it, but what do you think?
