Valued at £17m...Liverpool's eyes on Atletico Paranaense's 24-year-old goalkeeper Bento Transfers

Irish goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher has shown his ability in the Carabao Cup or during the period when Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker has been injured since his early 20s.

Offers have been received this winter, but he is likely to be allowed to leave this summer, and many clubs, particularly in the Premier League, will want the 25-year-old goalkeeper.

In preparation for the departure of the reserve goalkeeper, who is known for his consistent performances, Liverpool have been scouting goalkeepers from all over the world for a list of players and how they play. Various players have been rumoured so far, but a new name has emerged.

According to Sports Zone, Liverpool are keen on 24-year-old goalkeeper Bento from Atletico Paranaense and could be in the race for him with Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan.

It is only this season that Alisson has been out injured for a longer period, making 26 appearances, but last season he played only five games on the pitch due to poor team conditions.

Basically, he is only guaranteed to play in the Carabao Cup, and with manager Jurgen Klopp also gone, the timing of his departure this summer may be the best.

The Brazilian goalkeeper, who is expected to replace him, has started 163 games for his club. It remains to be seen whether he can defend the vast space between him and the final line, which is defended by a high line like Liverpool’s, but he has shown a high level of performance as a shot stopper.

He is valued at a relatively reasonable £17 million, and even if a fierce battle develops, he is unlikely to go that far up in value.

Will the next generation of Brazilian goalkeepers ever join Anfield?
