Adrián is ready to reject Liverpool offer as he is likely to go to Real Betis Transfers

In 2019, 37-year-old goalkeeper Adrian joined Liverpool on a free transfer after leaving West Ham United at the end of his contract. He made a total of 26 appearances for Anfield, providing goalmouth support during the period when Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker was injured.

However, he gradually lost his second-choice position to Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, and has rarely played a game in recent times, acting more like a coach.

His contract expired at the end of the season and he was expected to leave the club outright, but reports emerged that Liverpool had offered him a new contract offer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the former West Ham goalkeeper plans to reject Liverpool’s contract extension offer and is open to joining Real Betis, who are already in talks, as third-choice goalkeeper to replace Claudio Bravo.

The player has been playing in England since 2013, but before that he grew up in Real Betis’ lower divisions and was promoted to the first team. In total, he defended the goalmouth in 32 games for the club and then left Spain.

The 37-year-old goalkeeper is now set to return to his home country, but what will his final decision be…?
