I'm very happy and relaxed...Liverpool winger Luis Diaz discusses interest from other clubs Transfers

Colombian international Luis Diaz has been leading the attack up front for Liverpool since joining from Porto. The winger’s ability to dribble through the defence, backed up by his deft technique, as well as his ability to work hard in defence, has become part of a pattern of cutting down opposition defences.

He was involved in tragic events last year, including the kidnapping of his parents, but his continued success on the pitch nevertheless struck a chord with supporters.

He has also played injury-free despite a string of injuries, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists in 51 games this season.

“I’m very happy there at Liverpool, it’s a great team and club, I’ve always wanted to play there, so I’m very happy and relaxed. I’m not thinking about anything else, I’m thinking about the Colombia national team, which is where we are.”

Gol Caracol

His shots on goal and decision-making rate remain a bit of an issue, but in other areas he has become an integral part of Liverpool’s attack and is expected to be a mainstay under new manager Arne Slot.

Liverpool have no intention of releasing him at the moment, but will he defy expectations and make the trip to Spain this summer…?
