I'm curious about the Premier League...Atalanta midfielder Ederson, of interest of Liverpool, talks about his career Transfers

Liverpool are reportedly working to secure a new defensive midfielder to reduce the load on Japan midfielder Wataru Endo.

Although it is not a priority as they acquired a number of midfielders during last summer’s transfer window, rumours are heating up ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

Atalanta’s Brazilian midfielder Ederson, who won the Europa League, has also been the subject of interest from Liverpool for some time, and with reports circulating that an offer of €45 million has been made, the 24-year-old midfielder has spoken candidly about his departure.

“If something comes up about a transfer, the club has to accept it first, and that is the most important thing,”

“I have a good relationship with Atalanta, so the moment they come and tell me that they have some kind of offer, that will be when the talks start.”

“At the moment, I am an Atalanta player and I am still an Atalanta player. When my time with the national team ends, I will also enjoy a short vacation, which is important to rest, and then I will return to Italy.”

“I don’t know [which league suits me best], I’ve thought about it a lot, I like Italy, I’m well adapted, but I’m curious about the Premier League, so I don’t know.”

“I’m still growing, so I don’t know if I’ll stay in Italy, I think I still have more to prove. If I go somewhere else, then too. I will continue to grow.”

The central midfielder, who can play as an inside half as well as in the depths of midfield, has scored eight goals and assisted two in 90 games for Italy, and made his debut for Brazil in June 2024 in recognition of his achievements.

A player with a bright future, but will he move to Liverpool this summer?
