The Jurgen Klopp era has ended and new head coach Arne Slot has taken over at Liverpool. Despite interest in younger managers such as Xabi Alonso and Ruben Amorim, the Dutchman is excited about the new challenge of taking charge at Anfield.
While retaining the basic style of play, he has mixed his experience from previous clubs such as Feyenoord to establish a new Liverpool, and the two sides have been working together in pre-season to improve mutual understanding through training and friendly matches.
England U-21 midfielder Harvey Elliott, who has been a star since he was a teenager and will be at Liverpool from 2019, cannot hide his enjoyment of the new style of play, where possession is more important, and said he needs to keep trying for the opening game of the season.
