After a tour in the United States, Liverpool have moved full steam ahead with reinforcements. Discussions are underway with clubs and players to acquire Real Sociedad midfielder Martín Zubimendi, the defensive midfielder most sought after by new manager Arne Slot.
But that is not the end of the reinforcements. Fabrizio Romano, an expert on the transfer market, has assured that Liverpool are also looking to acquire players in other positions and will have a busy summer until that time when the market ends.

Apart from the bottom of midfield, there is also interest in attackers and centre-backs. Newcastle forward Anthony Gordon has been linked with a move to LIverpool, although at the moment, it looks unlikely that a transfer will be completed this summer.
Joel Matip has left the club and they are also looking for a replacement for Virgil van Dijk. Dutch defender Sepp van den Berg, who was expected to fill the void, is said to want to move on in search of a starting berth, and there may be some movement in the centre-backs in the future.
