The departure of Egyptian international Mohamed Salah is uncertain, partly due to intense interest from Saudi Arabia. Talks are expected to take place soon, with Liverpool and the player reportedly hoping to sign a new contract.

Italian international Federico Chiesa has been brought into the team to back up the team’s absolute ace, but he has not performed to his satisfaction in recent years due to a habit of injuries, and with this being his first Premier League challenge, it remains to be seen how far he can go.

Liverpool are also said to be chasing a left-winger, as he has different characteristics in terms of cutting in and shooting, and could be in the hunt for another attacker next summer.

According to GIVEMESPORT, Liverpool could be in the market next summer for Brentford’s Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo, who has been a consistent performer in the past few seasons and has earned a reputation as a right winger.

In addition, Newcastle United and Arsenal are also eyeing the player, suggesting a three-way battle will unfold in the summer of 2025. The main reason is that his contract with Brentford runs until June 2026, with less than a year remaining on his contract.

The 25-year-old attacker, who came over to England from Troyes in 2019, has played a total of over ‘200’ games at the Brentford Community Stadium and has been involved in a number of goals, with 53 goals and 42 assists.

England international Ivan Toney, with whom he had excellent chemistry, decided to go to Saudi Arabia this summer. The Cameroon winger is coming at an ideal time for a step up, and a move to a top Premier League club cannot be ruled out.

Will Liverpool be that destination, or will he join another club, or choose to stay at Brentford…?
