After a failed first attempt in the Premier League with Chelsea, Egyptian international Mohamed Salah has carved his name into the legends at Anfield after several years in Italy.
He is a dominant decisive force in front of goal, but also produces assists with his unmatched accuracy and passing.
At 32, Egyptian King is still leading the way up front for Liverpool, but his current contract is about to expire in June 2025.
The veteran winger hopes to continue playing on the European stage, but the Saudis have plenty of money ready and are looking to land him on a free transfer.
With Liverpool said to be open to renewing his contract, former England international Gabriel Agbonlahor, who scored a number of goals for Aston Villa during his playing days, claimed to have been told by sources that he would move to Saudi Arabia in the most expensive contract ever, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I know Salah’s going. I’ve got a source that told me Salah’s definitely going Saudi, on a record contract.”
“I’m hearing that he will earn more than [Cristiano] Ronaldo, he’ll be the face of the football over there. You can’t turn that down if you’re Mo Salah. He’s done everything at Liverpool hasn’t he?”

Although the Egyptian winger receives the top salary within the club, he is not as well paid as other mega clubs and is likely to be lured by the amount of money that would be on offer from a Middle Eastern club.
However, due to his attachment to Anfield and playing at the top level, there could be a world line for him to agree a new contract with Liverpool.
It is assumed that negotiations are underway behind the scenes, but will Salah continue to play in England next season or will he seek a new home in Saudi Arabia…?
