Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been linked with a move to Real Madrid following the expiry of his contract.
He has been a quality right-back for the previous regime and has also improved defensively since Arne Slot took over as manager. He is a player who cannot be changed for the team, as he is a raw talent.
In reserve is Northern Ireland defender Conor Bradley. His style of play is different, as he is a prolific, athletic player who actively engages up front, sometimes overtaking Mohamed Salah and even penetrating into the penalty area.
The 21-year-old defender has put in a series of good performances, but former England goalkeeper Ben Foster has a negative view of him. He said he was only a reserve for Trent and did not have the potential to match the current England right-back.
