Manager Arne Slot has made the step up from Feyenoord to the world-famous Liverpool club. He is top of the table in the Premier League, his first challenge, and the only club to win it all in the Champions League.
Not only do they win games comfortably, but they often win close games. They have transformed themselves into a team that has retained the best of Jurgen Klopp, maintaining possession and defensive stability, and are closing the gap on the other clubs as the season draws to a close.
Marco van Basten, who has produced legendary performances for Ajax and AC Milan in his playing days and scored historic goals for the Dutch national team, was impressed by his countryman’s skills and paid tribute to no other coach who has impressed him so much.
