Liverpool are watching Greek rising star, Nuremberg forward Stefanos Tzimas Transfers

With Darwin Nunez’s departure becoming uncertain and Mohamed Salah turning 33 this June, it is increasingly likely that Liverpool will revamp their attacking line-up.Italian international Federico Chiesa, who joined the club last summer, has also been linked with a return to Italy.

As the club move into a new era with Arne Slot as manager this season, all eyes are on the rising Greek star. According to Anfield Watch, Liverpool are looking at Greek U-21 international Stefanos Tsimas, who plays for Nuremberg.

He is on loan from PAOK Saloniki this season and is on a military training in Germany.

Although he is not in the Bundesliga, but in the second division, he has scored eight goals and assisted two in 15 games so far. He has a good ability on the ball, including link-up play, and is recognised as a potential future first-team player under Arne Slot.

Nürnberg have the right to acquire him for €18 million and are expected to exercise that right this summer. Even if he joins the German club, he is considered a bargain price and his young age (19) makes him attractive.

Nevertheless, with all the best clubs in Europe interested, will the Merseyside club be serious about landing the future Greek international…?
