19-year-old forward Jayden Danns made his first-team debut for Jurgen Klopp’s side last season. New manager Arne Slot also used him in the Premier League and domestic league, and although he was close to a half-digested game, he got a start in the Champions League against PSV Eindhoven.
He is one of the best in the Liverpool academy in terms of coordination with others and high scoring ability. The young striker, who shows extraordinary potential, is set to spend the second half of the season at Sunderland. He has been on loan in the north-east of England for about six months.
On joining the Championship top-flight club, the Liverpool-born attacker revealed that he is positive about his first loan move, but said he wants to give his all so that he can play an active role when he returns to Anfield next season.
“This is my first loan move and a chance to prove myself, so I’m very appreciative of the opportunity and I’m grateful to the Club for placing their faith in me. I’ve done my research and the team is incredible, so this feels like the right step.”

The first prerequisite is to contribute to Sunderland’s promotion to the Premier League. On top of that, they need to improve their own goals and assists and become stronger in the physical game in a league that is more competitive than the Premier League.
