Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk is still unable to reach an agreement on a new contract with Liverpool.Talks have been ongoing since last summer, but even with less than three months left on his contract, there is no sign of even a breakthrough.
However, both sides are persistently continuing negotiations. Fabrizio Romano, an expert on transfers, said the Merseyside club are keen to keep their captain and are confident of signing a new contract.
